Five positions · Not reissued · The cohort closes itself
KRUX is onboarding a founding cohort before the network opens publicly. Founding partners contribute the clearance record the standard is built from — and are the first to benefit from it.
§ 01 Eligibility
The founding cohort is intentionally small. We want operators whose clearance record is real enough to anchor the standard.
We are not looking for the largest entity in each category. We are looking for the entity whose record we can trust to set the baseline.
§ 02 What founding partners receive
The terms below are extended for the lifetime of the participating entity, not for a trial window. They are written into the cohort agreement, signed once, and not renegotiated.
Every feature of the KRUX workspace, including future features as they ship. No seat caps, no usage tiers, no upsells. The workspace is the deal.
Anonymised aggregates against the East African market — clearance speed, regulator throughput, exception rates — live from the moment your workspace activates.
For clearing agents: issue KTINs to your clients on the same day your workspace goes live. Your clients inherit the standard through your relationship.
When KRUX opens publicly and introduces pricing, your founding terms do not change. The agreement you sign as a founding partner is the agreement you keep.
Every new product KRUX ships — duty calculation, supplier intelligence, regulator forecasts — goes to founding partners before general release.
A monthly founder-led review — not a customer advisory board. A working session with the person doing the building. What is built next is shaped, in part, by what you raise.
§ 03 Onboarding
Every founding partner moves through the same sequence. No upfront fees, no integration project, no consultants.
§ 04 Apply
Submissions are reviewed in the order received. We respond — including with declines — within 5 business days.
§ 05 A note from HAJI
I won't waste your time with a pitch. This is the work I am building, and these are the five people I want to build it with.
You already run a practice that holds itself to a high standard. The reason this brief found its way to you is that I believe the standard for East African trade should be shaped from the inside — by the people who have already done the work, not by anyone watching from outside the room.
The cohort is held to five because that is the size at which I can remain in the room with each of you personally. Founding terms are locked in writing. Onboarding is held by me directly. What is built next is shaped, in part, by what you raise.
If the work fits, reply in your own words — on this page, or to the line below. A short call follows within forty-eight hours. If it doesn't fit, that is its own clean answer; I will respect it and your time will not be spent again.
